Islamabad Pakistan : Russia delivered humanitarian aid to victims of armed conflicts in Pakistan, Il-76 aircraft delivered 31 tons of humanitarian aid to Islamabad for Pakistan residents.
The aid includes basic supplies, warm clothing, blankets and food. The humanitarian aid was handed over to the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for further distribution among the region’s people.
It is planned that the Russian humanitarian aid will be handed to residents of the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who have suffered from armed conflicts.
The situation in the Kurram district of the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bordering Afghanistan in recent years remains tense.
The event was carried out with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the “Russia is with you” project, as part of the Russian Federation’s programs in the area of international development assistance.
