Karachi – It is with profound grief that we announce the passing of Mehmood Shaikh of Rotary Club of Karachi Pearl, a highly respected individual whose life was marked by unwavering integrity, humility, and a deep commitment to serving others.
With a professional career spanning more than 60 years, Mehmood Shaikh held distinguished positions in finance, banking, and law, where he was admired for his sound judgment, ethical conduct, and dedication to excellence. He most recently served as Director at Souvenir Tobacco, contributing significantly to the organization with his experience and leadership.
More than his professional achievements, Mehmood Shaikh was known for his compassion, humility, and lifelong commitment to the betterment of society. His actions were guided by a deep sense of responsibility toward humanity — always lending a helping hand, advocating for the underserved, and striving to create a more just and caring world.
He is survived by his spouse, four sons, two daughters, four daughters-in-law, and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family members, all of whom remember him as a pillar of strength, wisdom, and love.
