LAHORE: realme C100 Series is being positioned for a generation of young Pakistanis who are increasingly balancing education, employment, entrepreneurship and personal ambitions at the same time.
Ahead of the smartphone series’ launch in Pakistan, realme has released its consumer insight report, “The Ahead Generation”. The study examines how young people are changing traditional approaches to education, careers and financial independence.
The findings suggest that Gen Z is moving away from a linear path of completing education before entering the workforce. Instead, many young people are studying, working and developing additional income streams simultaneously.
Young Pakistanis take on multiple roles
According to the report, 64.4% of respondents are attending university or professional classes.

At the same time, many are gaining work experience, developing new skills or pursuing independent income.
Among respondents who are working, 34.3% have full-time jobs, while 25.9% work part-time. Another 21.1% are building online businesses or pursuing side hustles.
The findings indicate that traditional labels such as “student” or “employee” no longer fully describe the lives of many young people.
Financial independence drives ambition
The study also highlights a strong desire for independence.
Around 68.5% of respondents said they value freedom and the ability to choose their own direction.
However, personal ambition often comes alongside family responsibilities. Young people frequently use their early income to contribute towards household expenses and support their families.
The report also found that seeing peers succeed through entrepreneurship and freelance work can increase both motivation and expectations.
For many respondents, building practical skills and independent income represents a path towards greater financial control.
Gen Z wants transparency from brands
The research also points to changing consumer behaviour among young people.
Around 67.9% of respondents said they make major purchasing decisions themselves.
The report suggests that this makes them more cautious about polished marketing claims. Instead, young consumers increasingly look towards peer reviews, independent comparisons and direct information before buying products.
For technology companies, the findings highlight the importance of transparency and demonstrable value.
realme links findings to C100 Series
realme said “The Ahead Generation” report will help shape its approach to product development in Pakistan.
The company said technology should adapt to the changing lifestyles of young consumers rather than require them to change their routines around a device.
The upcoming C100 Series is therefore being positioned around the demands of users who study, work, create content, manage businesses and pursue multiple ambitions throughout the day.
realme said the series aims to provide technology capable of keeping pace with the demanding routines of Pakistan’s multi-role Gen Z.
