PTV channels destined to be moved up to HD: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday said Saudi Arabia had permitted display of Pakistani movies and shows.

The clergyman, in a tweet, said in coming two years the film business would be changed over into a critical benefit producing industry. He encouraged the abroad Pakistanis to put resources into the film and dramatization industry, and guaranteed them that they would not be frustrated.

He said in coming a half year PTV Sports, News and Home channels would be moved up to superior quality framework.

On Sep 14, Chaudhry had declared that the PTV’s flag would before long be digitized [from analog] and skill and assets would be given by China.

He called for dispatch of people in general private organization for enhancing the programming area of the PTV. The clergyman made these comments while talking amid his visits to Pakistan Television Academy today.

He said that the interests of the PTV representatives would be watched and endeavors would be made to enable the PTV to remain on its feet.

Chaudhry said that state media could assume a critical part in advancing the positive picture of the nation. The legislature would outfit the state media with present day innovation and PTV channels would be changed over to superior quality innovation in stages.

The pastor said that PTV and Radio foundations would be combined and changed over into a best in class media college. The priest said that PTV was the prime state media organization and its encouraging would demonstrate harbinger of progress in the whole authority media.

He said time was changing quickly and utilization of innovation was expanding with each passing day and Pakistan would need to keep pace with the world.
