Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on his maiden visit to Karachi since taking office in February, chaired a meeting at the CM House today. Addressing CM Murad Ali Shah and the provincial cabinet, PM Shehbaz pledged complete federal support, stating he is at the CM’s “beck and call.”
Emphasizing a collective approach among political stakeholders, PM Shehbaz highlighted the importance of respecting the mandate from the general elections. “Working together is our only path to national prosperity; no compromises,” he affirmed.
PM Shehbaz also mentioned the upcoming visits of Saudi and Iranian delegations, foreseeing increased foreign investment and a bolstered economy.
Earlier today, the PM paid homage at Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s mausoleum. He is scheduled to meet with Karachi’s business community and the Chamber of Commerce, seeking their input for economic enhancement.
