Karachi: Oil marketing companies are facing backlash from petroleum dealers in Karachi due to deliberate delays in petrol supply, coinciding with expectations of a price hike in the next fortnight. Dealers allege that several companies, including Haskol, have completely halted petrol supply, while others are intentionally delaying deliveries.

Expressing their frustration, petrol dealers claim to have placed orders for petrol supply, yet many have not received any supplies as of Saturday. This delay is resulting in substantial financial losses for the dealers, amounting to lakhs of rupees.

The situation highlights the challenges faced by dealers in maintaining operations and meeting consumer demands amidst market uncertainties and supply chain disruptions. Dealers are calling on oil companies to expedite petrol supplies to prevent further financial setbacks.
