KARACHI – Leading Pakistani actors have lamented the loss of life and property caused by powerful blasts in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Actress Mahesh Hayat wrote in a message on social media that the scenes she is seeing from Beirut after the incident are horrible and devastating, which she is saddened to see.
Mahesh Hayat expressed grief over the incident. He also prayed for the victims.
Actor Humayun Saeed also expressed grief over the losses in Beirut. “May God protects us all,” he wrote in a social media message.
According to foreign media, the Lebanese Minister of Health has confirmed that 70 people have been killed and more than 4,000 injured in the blasts in the capital Beirut. Several buildings and vehicles were also severely damaged.
