Osaka, Japan – October 12, 2025 : Pakistan’s Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka has earned international recognition by winning two prestigious awards, marking a proud moment for the country on the global stage.
The Pavilion received the Bronze Award in the ‘Exhibition Category’ from the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) at a special ceremony held in Osaka.
The award was accepted by Mr. Muhammad Naseer, Senior Director General, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), also the Project Director for the Pakistan Pavilion at Osaka
In addition, the Pavilion has been honored with the Editors’ Choice Award by Exhibitor Online, a leading international publication that celebrates creativity and innovation at World Expos. The award recognized Pakistan for its imaginative design, cultural authenticity, and compelling storytelling concept, “Universe in a Grain of Salt,” inspired by Pink Rock Salt.
The Pakistan Pavilion has already welcomed more than 1.7 million visitors over period of six months.
These recognitions reaffirm Pakistan’s growing presence on the global stage and celebrate the collective efforts of the Ministry of Commerce, the Embassy of Pakistan, Tokyo, the Curatorial team, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and all stakeholders involved in showcasing the best of Pakistan at Expo 2025 Osaka
