A Pak Army vehicle met with a tragic accident near Shujaabad as a result of which 9 jawans were martyred and 4 injured.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), a vehicle of the Pakistan Army met with a tragic accident near Shujaabad area of ??Bagh, the vehicle fell into a drain while on military duty.
ISPR says that 9 soldiers were martyred and 4 injured in the accident, the injured have been immediately shifted to CMH Rawalpindi.
ISPR further said that the funeral prayers of all the martyrs were performed at Mangala Garrison, Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lt. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza and other military officials attended the funeral prayers. The bodies of the martyrs were sent to their native areas.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the accident of an army vehicle near Bagh area of ??Azad Kashmir.
Shahbaz Sharif expressed his sympathy to the families of the 9 martyred youths and said that the nation salutes the martyred sons who performed the great duty of defending the motherland.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the martyrs’ high status and patience for the families, while the Prime Minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured youths.
