Showbiz Desk: Commenting on Pakistan’s victory over New Zealand, Pakistan renowned actress Meera said that New Zealand is the same team that refused to play with Pakistan.

Speaking on Geo News program “Jashan e Cricket”, actress Meera said that New Zealand had taken Pakistan lightly, but by the grace of God, the same New Zealand was defeated by Pakistan today.

Actress Meera was guest at Jashan e Cricket on special transmission on T20 World Cup with host Shahzad Iqbal. On this occasion Former Cricketer Inzamam-ul-Haq, Former Cricketer Mushtaq Ahmed, Cricketer Sohail Tanvir, Former Cricketer Tauseef Ahmed, Marina Iqbal Former Cricketer Sikandar Bakht and Ali Mir are present.

It should be noted that Pakistan had defeated New Zealand by 5 wickets in the T20 World Cup yesterday.

Irtiza Rubab was born on 12 May 1977, known as stage name Meera. She is a Pakistani renowned film actress and television presenter. She has appeared in several Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi movies. She has announced to enter politics, and she joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI). Meera made her movie debut in 1995 and lead role in Khilona in 1996–97. She won her first Nigar Award for her acting in Khilona and second consecutive Nigar Award for Best Actress of the year for her break-out performance. In 2015, she performed an item song in Indian film Bumper Draw. In the 2019, she appeared as a film star in box office success drama film Baaji.
