An important progress has been made in the Nazim Jokhio case, the parties reached a settlement.
Nazim Jokhio’s heirs submitted an affidavit in the court and said that we have reconciled with the accused and there is no objection to ending the case.
The court also issued notices to NADRA, Mukhtiarkar and others.
The court asked Nazeem to submit a report on the legal heirs of Jokhio to NADRA and Mukhtiarkar.
The affidavit has been submitted on behalf of Nazim Jokhio’s mother, widow and children.
The court has also ordered to publish an advertisement in the newspaper regarding the legal heirs.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case till October 15.
It should be noted that 6 accused including People’s Party member Sindh Assembly Jam Owais have been arrested in the case, the accused were to be charged today.
