Japan’s world-famous wrestler Inoki died at the age of 79

Japan’s world-famous wrestler Inoki has died at the age of 79. He had been hospitalized for some time due to ill health.

According to local media, Inoki was very popular among the Japanese people and the government and people are saddened by his death.

Anuki had great love and understanding for Pakistan and the Pakistani people. He became popular in Pakistan in 1979 after defeating Pakistani wrestler Jhara Pahlwan.

After the death of the Jhara wrestler, Inoki trained his nephew in Japan under his supervision. He wanted to do a peace walk on the Wagah border to promote peace between Pakistan and India.

According to reports, Inoki had also released dozens of Japanese citizens due to his personal relationship with Saddam Hussein during the Iraq-US war.

Wrestler Anuki accepted Islam at the invitation of Saddam Hussain, after which his Islamic name was given as Muhammad Hussain Anuki.

Inoki was a member of the Japanese Parliament until his death and served 4 terms. He wanted to come to Pakistan with the support of Geo News.

He also recorded a message for Geo News viewers.
