ILMA University Celebrates Academic Excellence at 21st Convocation Ceremony

Karachi, February 11, 2026: Marking 25 Years of Excellence in higher education, ILMA University proudly hosted its 21st Convocation Ceremony at the Main Campus on Monday, February 9, 2026, achieving a significant milestone in the academic journey of over 400 graduates, including 44 gold medalists, who formally transitioned into the next phase of their professional lives.
The convocation was attended by the university’s leadership, including Chancellor Mr. Noman Abid Lakhani(T.I.),  President & Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh Mr. Faraz Abid Lakhani, Chairperson Ms. Kanwal Hammad Lakhani, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Hammad Tahir,  and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mansoor uz Zafar Dawood. Graduating students, proud parents, faculty members, and distinguished guests filled the campus with an atmosphere of celebration and academic pride. The academic procession was formally led by Registrar Mr. Syed Kashif Rafi.
The ceremony was further honored by the presence of several distinguished Guests of Honour and eminent personalities, including Honorable Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Provincial Minister for Education, Government of Sindh; Mr. Ali Rashid, Honorable Provincial Minister for IT and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Science & Technology; Senator Mr. Abdul Haseeb Khan, Founder of Brookes Pharma Industries; Dr. Kashif Mehtab Chawla, Leading Industrialist and Director, Alkaram Towel Industries; Mr. Herman Hardynata Ahmad, Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi; Mr. Sanjeewa Pattiwila, Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi; Mr. Maher Mjhid Jejan, Consul General of Iraq in Karachi; Mr. Imran Khan Tessori, Renowned Businessman and Mr. Rizwan Jaffar, Anchorperson GTV News, who collectively emphasized the importance of quality education, innovation, and national as well as global collaboration.
ILMA University also acknowledged the invaluable support of its corporate and institutional partners, whose contributions enabled the awarding of medals and academic honors.
