H.E. Numan Kurtulmu?, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye paid an official visit to Pakistan
to participate in the “Third Trilateral Speakers’ Meeting of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Pakistan,” held in Islamabad under the theme of “Strengthening Fraternal Ties: Parliamentary Cooperation for Regional Peace, Security, and Prosperity”.
Islamabad : H.E. Numan Kurtulmu, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye paid an official visit to Pakistan to participate in the “Third Trilateral Speakers’ Meeting of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Pakistan,” held in Islamabad under the theme of “Strengthening Fraternal Ties: Parliamentary Cooperation for Regional Peace, Security, and Prosperity”.
Following deliberations among parliamentarians of the three countries, the “Islamabad Declaration” was signed by H.E. Numan Kurtulmu?, H.E. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan and H.E. Sahiba Gafarova, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan. The declaration signed between our countries has demonstrated a strong collective will to enhance regional peace, security, and development by deepening strategic cooperation among our brotherly nations.
On the sidelines of the conference, H.E. Numan Kurtulmu? was also received by H.E. Asif Ali Zardari, the President of Pakistan.
Following the trilateral meeting and his engagements in Islamabad, H.E. Numan Kurtulmu? proceeded to Lahore, where he visited the Punjab Provincial Assembly and met with H.E. Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab.
