Islamabad, June 12, 2025 — In a continued effort to unlock Pakistan’s vast export potential for mangoes, the Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Association (PFVA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and Serena Hotels, organized the second annual Mango Promotion Festival at Serena Hotel, Islamabad.
Building on the success of the inaugural festival held in 2023, this year’s event once again spotlighted Pakistan’s renowned mango varieties. Vibrant displays of the “King of Fruits” captivated over 300 attendees, including members of the diplomatic community, senior government officials, and key figures from the business sector.
The festival was honored by the presence of the Federal Minister of Commerce, Sardar Jam Kamal Khan, as Guest of Honour. Also in attendance were Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch; Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Ambassador Atadjan Movlamov of Turkmenistan; Patron-in-Chief of PFVA Mr. Waheed Ahmed; Chairman Mr. Aslam Pakhali; Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Ch. Muhammad Naseer; Former Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Shaib Ahmed; and Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Faiz Ahmed.
Speaking at the event, leaders highlighted the global demand for Pakistani mangoes and emphasized the importance of initiatives like the Mango Promotion Festival in strengthening Pakistan’s agricultural exports and fostering international trade relationships.
