FBR introduces Asan Tax Return Forms:Chief Coordinator Naeem Mir.

Karachi 28th August 2024 : Chief Coordinator Tajir Dost Scheme Muhammad Naeem Mir said that in order to create easiness for non-filers, the FBR has introduced Asan Tax Return Form that offers reduction in withholding tax from 2% and 2.5% to 0.1% and 0.5% in G 236 and H 236 respectively that is adjustable also.
The Chief Coordinater further clarified that the advance tax is not the minimum tax to be paid by every one; rather it is adjustable like utility bills.
“With the entry of bank account number by a trader in Asan Tax Return Form, the amount will be refunded in the account” added Mr. Mir while explaining the details of Asan Tax Return Form. He further stated that normal tax slab will be applicable to the income filed in Asan Tax Return Form and payable tax would be estimated automatically.
The Chief Coordinator concluded that we are progressing towards fullfilment of promises and suggested the traders for renouncing the path of strikes and called for resuming dialogue so that the country can progress ahead.
