Karachi – Commissioner Karachi salim Rajput chaired a meeting of all deputy commissioners and Assistant Commissioners of all seven districts at his office on Monday.

The Commissioner directed the officers to make all our efforts for the betterment of the city and to privide relief to citizens for the resolution of their problems .

He briefed the officers about his  priorities of the responsibilities of the district administrations adding that supporting election commission to hold the free fair and transparent election  is the important duty of the city administration.

He asked the deputy commissioners to play their duties for the preparation of elections in the light of guidelines of Election Commission.

For the improvement to bring in the working of civic agencies as well as the  service oriented developments he directed to develop the streghrhen coordination with them so as to providecbetter  public service to the citizens.

In this regards it was decided that campaings for effective price control system traffic system would be initiated by district administrations. 

All deputy commissioners were asked to carry out campaigns to check prices to enforce the prices fixed in Sabzi Mandi by the Market Committee in tge supversipn of deputy commissioner east.

It was alsobdecides that actions would also be taken against land mafias and those occupied government lands illegally.

The Commissioner appreciated the role of CPLC for the prevention as well as to monitor the crime in the city.    He said CPLC is a unique model that  fighting  the menace of street crime with the help of  citizens who are  providing services  voluntarily.

The Commissioner asked the deputy commissioners to provide all possible support to the CPLC and enhance the coordination and cooperation   for the success and  improvement of their efforts for prevention of street crime  and enhance coordination in this regard with the organization    working voluntarily
