Bilateral relations of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia to further improve with new PTI Govt: Saudi Info Minister

Islamabad: Saudi Information Minister Dr. Awwad Saleh al-Awwad arrived in Islamabad today on a visit to Pakistan.

He was received by Information Minister Chaudhary Fawad Hussain.

They discussed issues of mutual interest.

Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share the bond of religion and brotherhood.

Saudi Information Minister said Pak-Saudi relations will be improved in collaboration with the new government.

The Saudi Minister will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan later today.

The visit aims at finding new avenues of cooperation. Foreign Minister Wang Yi is has arrived in Islamabad today on a three day visit to Pakistan on the invitation of his Pakistan counterpart Shah Mehmoud Qureshi.

During his stay, the Chinese Foreign Minister will hold talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

He will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and newly elected President Arif Alvi.

The talks will focus on bilateral relations, China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project, regional security situation and the Afghan peace process.

The Chinese Foreign Minister will also hold meetings with the leadership of the opposition parties.
