ASEAN Friendship Bowling Tournament Held in Karachi.

Karachi: To celebrate ASEAN Day, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi hosted the ASEAN Friendship Bowling Tournament on September 7, 2023, at the Royal Rodale in DHA, Karachi. The event brought together representatives from ASEAN consulates and trade offices to promote unity and build friendships within the region.

This second annual tournament aimed to foster cultural exchange and goodwill among ASEAN member states. Participants included consulate representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, highlighting the region’s diversity and shared values.

Beyond the bowling competition, the event served as a platform for meaningful interactions and strengthened connections among ASEAN nations.

Consul General of Malaysia, HE Herman Hardynata Ahmad, expressed his excitement: “Hosting the 2nd ASEAN Friendship Bowling Tournament on ASEAN Day highlights our commitment to unity in diversity. It underscores our dedication to fostering regional harmony.”

The tournament celebrated ASEAN Day by honoring the organization’s founding principles and its mission to promote peace and prosperity. It demonstrated ASEAN’s vision of a cohesive and dynamic community.

The Consulate General of Malaysia thanks all participants, sponsors, and partners for their support, which contributed to the event’s success. They look forward to future tournaments that will continue to strengthen bonds within the ASEAN community.
