Karachi Pakistan : A contingent of 20 boys from Karachi Grammar School (KGS) participated in the 4th National Youth Chess Championship 2026, reflecting the growing interest in chess among school-age children in Pakistan.
The KGS group included players such as Ahsan Feroz, Amaan Garib, Syed Zayaan Ali, and Zayaan Rehman, who was among the youngest KGS participants at the national-level championship.

Organised under the auspices of the Chess Federation of Pakistan, the tournament was hosted by Saira Leghari of Karachi Chess Academy and was widely appreciated for its professional standards and child-focused competitive environment.

The event highlighted the steady growth of chess among children in Pakistan and its role in strengthening focus, discipline, and strategic thinking from an early age.
