72ND MEETING OF ADVANCE STUDIES & RESEARCH BOARD HELD.

The 72nd Meeting of Advance Studies & Research Board (ASRB) of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur was held chaired by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto.

At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto cordially welcomed the learned members of ASRB. While addressing to the house, Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said that we are committed to promote the quality research culture and excellence at the campus since the research has direct link with the socio-economic development, change and transformation of society. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that our research scholars are conducting research in adherence of the minimum eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.

After detailed deliberations, the various decisions were made. The Members confirmed the minutes of the 71st Meeting of ASRB. The Board recommended to award the Ph. D Degree to Ms. Hina Khan in the field of International Relations. The Board also recommended to award M.S/M. Phil Degrees to 15 research scholars in various Faculties. The ASRB extended the research period of 10 scholars of M.S/M. Phil and Ph. D. The research synopsis of 14 scholars of M.S/M. Phil and Ph. D were approved. The Board recommended to appoint 5 research guides and co-guides in various fields. 

Prof. Dr. Chandan Lal Rohra, Pro-Vice Chancellor Shahdadkot Campus, Prof. Dr. Maqsood Zia Shah, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Ghotki Campus, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Dean Faculty of Arts & Languages, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Qasid Hussain Mallah, Dean Faculty of Physical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Abdul Hussain Shar, Dean Faculty of Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Amir Hussain Shar, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, Advisor to Vice Chancellor on Academics, Prof. Dr. Iram Rani, Director Quality Enhancement Cell, Prof. Dr. Samina Rajpar, Director ORIC, Prof. Dr. Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Director Institute of English Language & Literature, Prof. Dr. Akhtiar Ali Ghumro, Director Institute of Commerce & Management, Prof. Dr. Masihullah Jatoi, Prof. Dr. Khalida Mahar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Salih Memon, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Director Postgraduate Studies, Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibupoto, Registrar and Syed Mehdi Shah Rashdi, Controller of Examinations attended the meeting.
