Karachi: The meeting of Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi, Hafiz Naeem ur Rahman with Iranian Consul General, H.E Hassan Nourian, which took place on birth anniversary of the beloved Prophet of Islam, the both parties discussed the need of unity among the Muslims of the world against foreign domination and the necessity of stand with the oppressed Muslim nations around the world.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said in this meeting: Iran and Pakistan, as two neighboring Muslim countries, should meet their mutual needs and have wider cooperation in the field of energy, including crude oil, natural gas, and food items.
Hassan Nourian, Consul General of Iran in Karachi, emphasized the importance of economic enhancement and reiterated that a delegation headed by president of Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran will visit the cities of Karachi and Lahore at the end of October.
He added that business meetings will be held with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce (KCCI) including investment department of Sindh and other economic entities of Pakistan.
