A big election for the throne of Punjab will take place today

Polling for by-elections in 20 constituencies of Punjab will be held today, there will be competition among 175 candidates, the popularity of PML-N and Tehreek-e-Insaf will be tested.

PML-N needs 9 more seats to retain the Chief Ministership, PTI wants 13 more seats.

In PP 158, PML-N’s Rana Ahsan Sharaft and PTI’s Akram Usman will compete. is facing PTI’s Nawaz Awan, PML-N’s Amin Zulqarnain will have two bids against PTI’s Zaheer Khokhar in PP 170.

In Multan, PTI’s Zain Qureshi and PML-N’s Salman Naeem are face-to-face. The PPP has also put its full weight in the PML-N’s fold, in Kahota, Bhakkar, Khushab, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sahiwal. Collision competitions are also expected.

‘Ballot papers have been delivered to returning officers’

The Election Commission says that the ballot papers have been delivered to the returning officers, today the election material will be handed over to the presiding officers from the offices of the returning officers.

Sources said that the polling materials will be taken to the polling stations along with security personnel, police personnel will be deployed at the polling stations, while Rangers will patrol the constituencies, the Army will be on standby.

By-election in 4 constituencies of Lahore

By-election will be held in 4 constituencies of Lahore, 251 polling stations have been established in PP 158, 140 polling stations have been established in PP 167, while 78 polling stations have been established in PP 170.

Secretary Election Commission Umar Hameed will sit in Lahore camp office for 3 days, polling materials have been issued from the offices of the returning officers, the materials will be delivered to the polling stations under the supervision of the police.

According to Election Commission sources, the total number of polling stations in 20 constituencies of Punjab is 3 thousand 131, 676 are highly sensitive, 1194 are sensitive and 1271 are normal polling stations.

CCTV cameras installed at sensitive polling stations

Election Commission sources say that CCTV cameras have been installed at the most sensitive polling stations, police and rangers will be on duty at the most sensitive polling stations.

Election Commission sources have said that 45 lakh 79 thousand 898 voters will exercise their right to vote in 20 constituencies of Punjab.

Sources Election Commission further said that there are 24 lakh 60 thousand 206 male voters, 21 lakh 19 thousand 692 female voters will exercise their right to vote for Punjab by-elections.

Polling Agents get a copy of Form 45 and Form 46 signed by the Presiding Officers. Election Commission has set up control rooms to monitor the polling process. The control rooms will monitor the polling process and receive complaints.

Preparations for Punjab Police by-elections complete

IG Punjab says that shorty bonds have been taken from candidates of all parties without discrimination, aerial firing will not be allowed after the declaration of results.

Fawad Chaudhry accused of arresting PTI workers

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has alleged that Tehreek-e-Insaf workers who are active in the election campaign are being identified and arrested.

While talking to the media in Lahore, Fawad Chaudhry said that he had said in the court that if Hamza Shahbaz is kept as the Chief Minister, then he will rig it, he has informed the Election Commission about the situation of each constituency.
