A delegation of EOBI Officers Association of Pakistan called on Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
According to details, President of EOBI Officers Association of Pakistan Mr. Tahir Siddique Chaudhry and General Secretary Mr. Muhammad Waqas Chaudhry met with Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Mr. Sajid Hussain Turi in Islamabad. The Association congratulated Sajid Hussain Turi on becoming Federal Minister. On this occasion, the Federal Minister thanked the delegation from the bottom of his heart.
According to sources, the president and general secretary of the association have asked the Federal Minister to address some serious issues facing the company, including appointments of new employees, approval of pay scales, promotion of employees and funds allocated for their welfare. He called for legal increase, amendments to the EOB rules, including the balance of contributions and balance of benefits payments, increase in the light of the law on pensioners’ pensions and called for a solution to their problems.
The Federal Minister discussed all the issues in detail and assured that they would be resolved. The delegation of the Association lauded the employee friendly policies of the Federal Secretary Mr. Ishrat Ali. On this occasion, the tireless services and efforts of the Acting Chairman, Ms. Shazia Rizvi, in spite of her limited powers, were also appreciated.
Furthermore, the Federal Minister pledged all possible assistance and cooperation from the President and General Secretary EOBI Officers Association of Pakistan to ensure the development of the institution. The delegation on the occasion assured their full cooperation and prayed for the development of the institution.
