We have lost, yes completely, societies’ ethical and mental devastation is at pinnacle as certain sordid mindset has reached to such an alarming extent that now a debate is open on whether shouting, chanting slogans in the precincts of Masjid-e-Nabwi (SAW) falls in the horizon of disrespect or not. Indeed a senseless question!!
Being a Muslim and a true lover and slave of Holy Prophet (Saw), it is heart-wrenching to witness such kind of mortification at my Prophet’s sacred place by several people who event not thought once about the sanctity and holiness of the place where they were dead busy in their idiotic and filthy behavior.
Indubitably, these acts not only needs strong condemnation but on a larger side the culprits and the wrongdoers should be severely penalized just not for going against the rules of Saudi government but for bringing ignominy to the holiest place on earth.
It is a good omen, that religious scholars belonging from different sects have widely deplored the act of hooliganism at Masjid-e-Nabwi (Saw) and bashed the committers in the most rigid manner. Not only religious scholars, journalists, politicians, celebrities, all and sundry have raised their serious concerns over this odious act of miscreants.
Not in any case one could defend the shouting, chanting of slogans in Masjid-e-Nabwi (Saw). This is pathetic and much doleful. I certainly believe that criticism and hate is a part of human nature towards anything which one could not find right whether in any personality or object but setting aside all clarifications in response to an appalling act, it is unambiguous that Masjid-e-Nabwi reverence is mandatory and above all.
What happened at Prophet (Saw) Masjid should be called as a ‘horrible incident’ rather just an act of hoodlums. These people needs proper training and education regarding the moral values and the teachings of Islam as what they did is reprehensible and not in any way reflects the true principles of Islam.
