Mainly cold, cloudy weather expected in most parts of the country
KARACHI – Mainly cold and cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, rain with snow is expected in upper/central Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Fog and smog are likely to reduce in a few plain areas of Punjab.
The temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad five degree centigrade, Lahore seven, Karachi eighteen, Peshawar and Quetta six, Gilgit minus one, Murree and Muzaffarabad two degree centigrade.
According to Met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and light snow is expected in Srinagar, cloudy weather with chances of rain in Jammu, while cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow is expected in Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula.
The temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar two degrees centigrade, Jammu nine, Leh minus nine, Pulwama and Shopian zero, Anantnag one and in Baramula minus one-degree centigrade.
