KARACHI – Leading Political and Social Leader Samir Mir Shaikh has been elected as the Patron of APSMA ( All Private Schools Management Association Sindh) by a majority vote. On the occasion, Syed Tariq Shah, Central Chairman of APSMA, said that Samir Mir Shaikh is a well-known and active politician as well as a social leader, a leading businessman and philanthropist whose patronage will further enhance the performance of APSMA and private institutions issues will be able to be handled more effectively and efficiently. He said that the inclusion of Samir Mir Shaikh as Patron would help in solving the problems of the educational institutions due to the the capabilities he possesses and he will be a great asset to APSMA in making education widely accessible and raising the standard of education.
Samir Mir Shaikh has previously served as Chairman of Higher Education, Science and Technology (All Pakistan) for six years. Samir Mir Shaikh has also remained Head of Academics at United Nations Pakistan, thus brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Education.
