KARACHI: A responsibility court on Saturday issued non-bailable capture warrants for Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) pioneer Babar Ghauri for a situation identified with illicit arrangements in the Karachi Port Trust (KPT).
The ex-serve is confronting charges of Rs 2.8 billion defilement in the KPT.
As indicated by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), eight men, including Ghauri, in conspiracy with one another had illicitly regularized 940 representatives of KPT, making Rs2.8bn misfortune the national exchequer.
After issuance of the warrants, the becoming aware of the case was deferred till October 17.
Catch had first taken this case to the Sindh High Court which had coordinated that a reference on the issue is documented in the responsibility court by August 8.
In December 2017, Babar Ghauri had reported to stop from the Altaf Hussain-drove MQM.
