Organized by the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), the annual awards remain Pakistan’s only authorized pathway to the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards. The competition recognizes innovation across the country’s expanding technology ecosystem.
P@SHA ICT Awards feature 10 major categories covering consumer technology, FinTech, industrial automation, business services, public sector innovation, education, gaming, artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), startups and research-driven solutions. As a result, innovators from every segment of Pakistan’s digital economy can participate.
Dr. Shoab Ahmad Khan, Chair of the P@SHA ICT Awards Committee, said the categories provide equal opportunities for startups, established companies, public institutions and student innovators. Moreover, he said the awards enable participants to showcase Pakistani innovation on the international stage through APICTA.
Last year’s competition attracted more than 1,600 applications, involved over 150 judges and presented 104 awards across 41 categories. Meanwhile, the winners represented Pakistan at the APICTA Awards 2025 in Chinese Taipei, strengthening the country’s presence in the Asia-Pacific technology sector.
This year’s winners will advance to the APICTA Awards 2026 in Jakarta. In addition, the event aims to promote innovation, encourage entrepreneurship and highlight Pakistan’s growing reputation in software development and emerging technologies.
Applications for the awards will remain open until August 10, 2026. Judging will take place later in August, followed by the awards ceremony in September. Finally, successful participants will represent Pakistan at the APICTA Awards in December 2026.
