In Islamabad, OPF became the central focus of discussions as Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nuhal Hashmi met with Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) Chairman Syed Qamar Raza to review issues affecting overseas Pakistanis and explore measures for improved welfare services.
The two leaders held detailed discussions on strengthening institutional support systems for Pakistanis living abroad and improving service delivery mechanisms. They emphasized the need to remove barriers that restrict overseas investment and to enhance administrative efficiency.

The Sindh governor stated that overseas Pakistanis play a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy, adding that their concerns require urgent attention and practical solutions. He stressed that policy coordination must be improved to ensure faster resolution of their issues.
Both sides agreed to expand cooperation between relevant institutions and continue joint efforts aimed at improving outreach and facilitation for expatriates. Further steps were also discussed to streamline communication between government bodies and overseas communities.
Officials noted that initiatives related to overseas Pakistanis will be made more effective through sustained coordination, while investment-friendly reforms will be prioritized to encourage greater economic participation.
