Security forces carried out two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing four terrorists linked to militant activity, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In addition, officials said the operations targeted groups operating in Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand districts.
Operation In Dera Ismail Khan
Security forces launched an intelligence-based operation during the night of June 3 and 4 in Dera Ismail Khan after receiving reports of terrorist presence.
As a result, troops engaged militants in a heavy exchange of fire. They killed two terrorists during the operation.
Moreover, the forces effectively targeted the militants’ hideout and cleared the area.
Second Operation In Mohmand District
In a separate operation in Mohmand district, security forces conducted another targeted action based on intelligence inputs.
Consequently, two more terrorists were killed during the engagement. Officials also recovered weapons and ammunition from the site.
According to ISPR, the killed militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
Clearance Operation Continues
Security forces continue clearance and search operations in the surrounding areas. The aim is to eliminate any remaining threat, ISPR said.
In addition, authorities emphasized that operations will continue until the complete removal of militant presence in the region.
Prime Minister Praises Security Forces
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the successful operations and commended the security forces for their professionalism.
Furthermore, he said Pakistan remains committed to eliminating terrorism completely under ongoing national efforts.
He added that the nation stands with its armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism, and no space will be left for militants or their facilitators in the country.
