The development highlights TCL’s growing footprint in international markets, including Pakistan, and reinforces its focus on innovation in sustainable cooling and clean air solutions.
According to the company, the new Guangzhou facility represents one of the most advanced intelligent air conditioner manufacturing hubs in China’s Greater Bay Area. It is designed to support an annual production capacity of up to 8 million units and is expected to generate an output value of 3 billion yuan in 2026, with projections to exceed 10 billion yuan over the next five years.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunny Yang said the achievement reflects growing global consumer trust in TCL’s products. She added that the new facility demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and meeting rising demand across key markets, including Pakistan.
At the core of the manufacturing base is an AI-powered production system capable of producing one air conditioner every seven seconds. The facility integrates advanced robotics and intelligent automation to enhance efficiency, consistency, and product quality.
Company officials noted that the investment is part of TCL’s broader strategy to deliver next-generation cooling solutions that combine performance, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
“With increasing demand for smart and energy-efficient cooling systems, manufacturing innovation is essential to supporting future growth,” Yang said, adding that the company aims to strengthen its ability to provide reliable and sustainable solutions worldwide.
TCL products are currently available in more than 160 countries and regions, with Pakistan identified as a key growth market for its air conditioning and consumer electronics segments.
The company said the new manufacturing base will help it scale production, improve delivery timelines, and meet evolving consumer demands in both global and regional markets.
