Islamabad: A delegation of industrial and business leaders met with Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Khan Magsi to discuss industrial development, innovation, and stronger public-private cooperation.

The delegation included Dr. Danish Aman, along with representatives from the leather industry, food sector, trade associations, and defence residential bodies. Key participants included officials from the Pakistan Tanners Association, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry, and other business and community organisations.
During the meeting, discussions focused on promoting research and development, strengthening industrial competitiveness, and modernising key export-oriented sectors, particularly the leather industry. Participants also explored avenues for integrating technological solutions to support long-term economic growth.
The delegation highlighted the need for improved collaboration between industry and government institutions to address structural challenges and enhance productivity.
Minister Khalid Khan Magsi assured full government support for addressing industry concerns and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating innovation, sustainable development, and modernization across key economic sectors.
