Karachi Pakistan Moro Power Company Private Limited and Power China NWE (the world’s largest company in renewable energy) today signed an agreement, which includes the engineering and construction of Phase 1, a 100 MW renewable power project based on wind turbines, solar panels and storage batteries.

On this occasion, Yang Jianduo, Vice President of Power China, Euro Asia Division, and Mustafa Abdullah, CEO, Moro Power Company, signed the agreement. This will be the first project based on the long-awaited CTBCM B2B wheeling policy that will provide low-cost renewable power to industries anywhere in Pakistan, which will be 25% cheaper than the grid electricity consumed by the National Grid, without having to pay a wheeling cost of 9/kWh.
