According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the gas supply will remain suspended from 8:00am on Sunday, April 12, 2026, until 8:00am on Monday, April 13, 2026.
SSGC management said the decision has been taken to ensure equitable distribution of gas across all sectors and to maintain adequate line-pack pressure within the system. The move is aimed at improving supply stability and ensuring better gas pressure for consumers, particularly domestic users.
The company emphasized that such measures are necessary due to limited gas availability and are part of routine system management to balance demand and supply efficiently.
SSGC spokesperson Salman A Siddiqui reiterated the company’s commitment to providing improved gas pressure and uninterrupted supply to priority sectors.
The utility also urged media outlets and the public to report the development accurately, noting that similar measures in the past were misrepresented on social media, causing unnecessary concern among domestic consumers.
