Karachi : Chairperson of MKP Corporate Group, Sana Aqeel, has expressed concern over the escalating tensions between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, urging all parties to exercise restraint and pursue diplomatic solutions.
In her statement, she emphasized that in the current sensitive situation, unverified news and speculation should be avoided, and reliance should be placed only on credible international sources, as misinformation can further intensify tensions.
Sana Aqeel stressed that all states must adhere to the United Nations Charter and international laws, respect sovereignty and territorial integrity, and refrain from actions that could widen the conflict. She added that the protection of civilians must remain a top priority, as ordinary people suffer the most during conflicts.
She further noted that rising tensions in the Middle East have far-reaching implications for global trade, energy markets, and the economies of developing countries like Pakistan.
Concluding her statement, Sana Aqeel said that sustainable peace and economic stability can only be achieved through diplomacy, dialogue, and adherence to international principles.
