KARACHI: President of the North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI), Faisal Moiz Khan, has declared full support for Pakistan’s “Operation Ghazab Lil Haq,” launched in response to what he described as aggression by the Afghan Taliban regime along the Pak-Afghan border.
In a strongly worded statement issued, Faisal Moiz Khan said the entire business community stands shoulder to shoulder with the country’s armed forces in defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“We salute the bravery, professionalism and resolve of our armed forces, who have once again thwarted every hostile design against Pakistan,” he said, adding that no compromise would be made on national security.
He warned that any act of aggression would be met with a decisive response, asserting that Pakistan’s sovereignty is non-negotiable. “The enemies of Pakistan must understand that any misadventure will be answered with full force,” he said.
Referring to what he termed “Indian-backed proxy elements,” he maintained that hostile forces operating under foreign influence had failed in their objectives due to the vigilance and operational readiness of Pakistan’s military. “Those working as proxies for India and aiding Afghan aggression will face yet another humiliating defeat,” he added.
The NKATI chief also expressed concern over the security situation in Afghanistan following the withdrawal of NATO forces, stating that hopes for long-term peace and stability had not materialised. He alleged that Afghanistan had been left vulnerable to external influence and warned against the use of its territory by militant elements against Pakistan.
“If Afghanistan is turned into a hub for terrorist activities, Pakistan’s armed forces possess the full capability to neutralise any threat and make such elements an example,” he said.
Reiterating the business community’s commitment to national defence, he said economic stakeholders across the country remain united on matters of sovereignty and security. “The entire nation is united. We are prepared to support our armed forces on every front and to keep their morale high,” he concluded.
