Jamshoro (February 25, 2026): Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages Jamshoro has launched a fruit plantation drive aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and enhancing the natural beauty of the campus.
The plantation campaign was organized by the Horticulture and Beautification Department of the university under the supervision of Muhammad Yousif Soomro. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to creating a greener and healthier environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Arabella Bhutto, inaugurated the drive by planting saplings at the girls’ hostel, foreign faculty hostel and other prominent areas of the campus. Speaking on the occasion, she emphasized the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and maintaining ecological balance. She appreciated the efforts of the Horticulture and Beautification Section and encouraged students and employees to actively participate in such initiatives to ensure a clean and eco-friendly campus.
