USA : A 90-year-old American English teacher has earned a Guinness World Record for her 67-year teaching journey. Beverly Hannett Price, of Beverly Hills, Michigan, who teaches English at Detroit Country Day School, was presented with a Guinness World Record certificate for her 67-year teaching career at a surprise ceremony on Monday. The ceremony was held in her honor. Guest speakers at the event included Courtney B. Vance, a former Beverly student who later became a Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress. Vance told “He really taught me how to write and how to organize my ideas in a great way, and that’s why I still keep in touch with him.” Hannett Price (who began teaching in 1958) also counts actor Robin Williams and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer among her former students. Speaking at the event, she said that she has no intention of retiring. She loves this school very much. She loves teaching.
