LAHORE – The Lahore High Court on Tuesday has adjourned hearing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz’s bail plea till tomorrow in Money Laundering and Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
The Court had summoned PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz’s lawyers for arguments in her bail plea. According to details, the Justice Baqir Najafi heard the PML-N vice president’s bail plea.
On previous hearing, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted their written replies over Maryam’s bail plea.
The court while granting one-day time to Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer for review NAB’s reply, adjourned the hearing till Tuesday (today).
Defense counsel in the hearing said that Maryam Nawaz was in jail on judicial remand after completion of her physical remand. The NAB has completed its questioning over the case, the counsel further said.
On August 8, NAB had arrested Maryam Nawaz, her cousin Yousaf Abbas in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
