Karachi, January 12, 2026: JS Bank, one of the fastest-growing banks in Pakistan, in partnership with KuickPay, has enabled Raast QR–based insurance premium payments for customers of the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC), the country’s largest life and health insurer. This service aligns with the vision of His Excellency, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, for a Cashless Pakistan, while enhancing the digital payment experience for the country’s largest life and health insurer.

Mr. Shoaib Javed Hussain, CEO of SLIC, added “State Life remains committed to empowering our policyholders through digital adoption. By integrating Raast QR, we are enhancing our customers’ digital journey, providing a faster, cashless, transparent, and highly accessible way for every Pakistani to secure their future and stay protected through State Life’s insurance products.”

Sharing his thoughts on the partnership, Mr. Basir Shamsie, President & CEO of JS Bank, said “JS Bank continues to invest in scalable digital payment infrastructure that enables institutions to transition away from cash. By facilitating Raast QR payments, the initiative supports the Government of Pakistan’s Cashless Pakistan and Digital Pakistan agendas by extending Raast-based payments to high-volume, recurring insurance premium collections.”

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Saqib Ali, added “Kuickpay, in partnership with JS Bank and under the directives of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), is committed to driving Pakistan’s digital transformation. Our platform will streamline the payment process and provide diverse digital payment solutions to the consumers of State Life Corporation. Through this initiative, we aim to enhance financial inclusion, improve customer convenience, and contribute to the broader vision of a digitally empowered Pakistan.”

Implemented by JS Bank in collaboration with KuickPay, the solution enables SLIC policyholders to make instant insurance premium payments by scanning a Raast QR code via the SLIC official website, statelife.com.pk.
