Islamabad, October 7, 2025: Prominent businessman and Member of the National Assembly Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig was honored with a recognition shield by Sardar Tahir Mehmood, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI), in acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions to Pakistan’s business community.
The ceremony was attended by several distinguished figures, including Atif Ikram, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI); SM Tanvir, Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group (UBG); and Abdul Rauf Alam, former President of FPCCI, along with other office bearers and leading members of the business community.
Speaking on the occasion, participants lauded Dr. Baig’s continuous efforts in promoting trade, industry, and economic growth in Pakistan. His role in strengthening public–private collaboration and advocating for business-friendly policies has been widely appreciated within the corporate sector.
The event highlighted the shared commitment of Pakistan’s leading trade bodies to recognize and encourage individuals who have made significant contributions toward the development of the national economy.
