Karachi, Pakistan – The Kashmir Supreme League (KSL) is proud to announce that renowned actor and celebrity, Mr. FaysalQuraishi, has officially acquired the Muzaffarabad Falcons franchise. This acquisition marks a significant new chapter for the league, with Mr. Quraishi transitioning from a brand ambassador to a team owner.
The official signing ceremony took place in Karachi, where Mr. Quraishi finalized the ownership of the franchise. His decision to invest in a team underscores his deep commitment to the KSL’s vision of promoting cricket and nurturing emerging talent.
“I am incredibly excited to become a team owner in the Kashmir Supreme League,” said Mr. FaysalQuraishi. “The Muzaffarabad Falcons represent more than just a team; they embody the passion and spirit of cricket in the region. Mr. Masood Khan, chairman of KSL welcomed Mr. Quraishi’s new role, stating, “Mr. FaysalQuraishi has been a valuable part of the KSL family. Moin Khan, the KSL’s Executive Director of Cricket Operations, also welcomed Mr. Quraishi to the league, expressing his desire to work together to promote unity and peace through cricket. The Kashmir Supreme League 2025 is set to kick off on October 12, 2025, featuring six teams, including the newly acquired Muzaffarabad Falcons, competing for the championship trophy. The season will culminate on October 24, 2025, with matches held in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Muzaffarabad. The player draft is scheduled for September 22, 2025, at the historic Mohatta Palace in Karachi.
The KSL remains dedicated to its mission of providing a robust platform for young cricketers from across the Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, with a special focus on regions like Gilgit-Baltistan, which will have a team participating for the first time.
