Karachi, September 16, 2025 – The 2nd Pakistan International Date Palm Festival commenced today at the Expo Center, Karachi, marking the beginning of a three-day celebration of Pakistan’s growing date palm industry. The festival will continue on September 17 and 18, 2025, bringing together industry leaders, farmers, researchers, and international delegates to promote date cultivation, trade, and innovation.
The *Ribbon-cutting ceremony* was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including *H.E. Dr. Abdelouahhab Alboukhari Zaid, Secretary General of the Khalifa International Award, H.E. Dr. Helal Humaid Saeed Al Kaabi, Member of the Board of Trustees of the AwardH.E. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, and **Mr. Saeed Ghani, Senior Minister of Sindh* who was the Chief Guest.
