Karachi, Pakistan: Depilex Smileagain Foundation (DSF), in collaboration with L’Oréal Pakistan, celebrated the first-ever graduation of the Beauty for a Better Life (BFBL) program in Pakistan—marking a significant step forward in empowering women survivors of violence through vocational training.
Held at Depilex Karachi, the event recognized 60 women graduates who completed a four-month training program in haircare, skincare, makeup, and salon hygiene. Beyond technical skills, the program offered tools for rebuilding confidence and achieving financial independence.
“Beauty for a Better Life is about reigniting hope and restoring dignity. With Fondation L’Oréal’s support, we’re helping women rebuild their lives with courage and skill,” said Masarrat Misbah, Founder of DSF.
Part of a global initiative by Fondation L’Oréal, the BFBL program has empowered over 67,000 women worldwide, using beauty as a tool for social reintegration and change. Pakistan now joins this global movement, with DSF leading its local implementation.
Rehan Saeed, Executive General Manager, L’Oréal Pakistan, said: “We believe beauty can transform lives. Today’s graduates are a testament to resilience, empowerment, and hope.”
This graduation marks the beginning of a new chapter—not only for the women who have completed the program, but for Pakistan’s role in advancing inclusive beauty and sustainable impact.
