Karachi: The Honorary Consul of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Karachi, Mr. Ibrahim K. Tawab, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and widespread damage caused by the recent heavy rains in Pakistan.
Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Mr. Tawab prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and emphasized the importance of stronger disaster preparedness and collective efforts to support those affected.
He reaffirmed Ethiopia’s solidarity with Pakistan in this difficult time, stating: “The people of Ethiopia stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. We pray for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families.”
