This vibrant celebration honors Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day and Marks-e-Haq through an unforgettable experience of ACT (Arts, Culture, Tastes) — showcasing rich traditions, patriotic pride, and community unity.
This mega-event is organized and curated by the Consulate General of Pakistan – Houston and the ACT Festival Organizing Committee in collaboration with:
* Houston-Karachi Sister City Association (HKSCA)
* Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH)
* Quaid-e-Azam Foundation Houston TX
Also joined by several supporting organizations, cultural influencers, and prominent community volunteers.
Key Highlights of the Festival
* VIP Ceremony at 5:00 PM, led by His Excellency Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States
* Special Guest Appearance & Performance by Renowned Pakistani Singer Tehseen Javed, known for his iconic patriotic and romantic hits, rekindling nostalgic memories of Pakistan’s golden era of music.
* Live Cultural Performances – From regional folk dances to children’s patriotic tributes, the stage will reflect the cultural diversity of Pakistan.
* Traditional Cultural Fashion Showcase – Featuring authentic ethnic wear representing all provinces of Pakistan.
* Shopping Bazaar & Exhibits – Featuring handcrafted goods, clothing, jewelry, arts, books, and home décor.
* Kids Activities – Including face painting, inflatables, storytelling corner, and games.
