Karachi, July 16, 2025 – A distinguished delegation of women business leaders, headed by Sahibzadi Mahin Khan, Founder President of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce & Industry Korangi (WCCIK) and All?Pakistan Coordinator – BMP Progressive, met with H.E. Yang Yundong, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Karachi, to explore stronger cooperation in women’s entrepreneurship and bilateral trade.
The delegation included Shabista Bakhtiar, President WCCIK; Hibba Rizvi, Vice President WCCIK; Sania Zaidi, Former Senior Vice President WCCIK; Nazli Abid, Founder President KWCCI Malir; Tasneem Hamid, President KWCCI Malir; and Shaiyanne Sohail Malik, Former President WCCI South.
Key discussions focused on women exchange programs, SME and exporter development, training centers for women entrepreneurs, clear criteria for women’s inclusion in trade seminars, and a proposed Women Entrepreneurs Leadership Delegation to China. The delegation also emphasized inviting women chambers whenever major business activities or exhibitions are organized and strengthening women?to?women linkages between Pakistan and China.
The Consulate extended warm hospitality and expressed strong support for these initiatives. “With the Consulate’s encouragement, we can turn these ideas into meaningful programs that uplift women entrepreneurs and expand opportunities on both sides,” said Sahibzadi Mahin Khan after the meeting.
