Karachi, May 19, 2025 – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Monday for a one-day visit. Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will tour the Pakistan Navy dockyard and meet with officers and men of the Pakistan Navy. He is set to pay tribute to the personnel who defended Pakistan’s maritime borders during the historic operation “Marka-e-Haq.”
Accompanying the PM are Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the Pahalgam incident, highlighting that India has failed to provide any evidence linking Pakistan and has falsely implicated the country. He emphasized that Pakistan’s response to India’s provocative actions has been responsible and measured.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms during a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, Dr. Irfan Neziroglu.
