KARACHI: Co-accused Shiraz has confessed to his involvement in the kidnapping and murder of Mustafa Amir, alongside Armaghan, according to a police report cited by ARY News.

Shiraz was apprehended on February 14 near Korangi Road, following an investigation into the high-profile murder case.

Key Revelations from Shiraz’s Interrogation Report

  • He admitted that he and Armaghan were responsible for Mustafa Amir’s murder.
  • After the crime, they burned the victim’s vehicle in Hub, Balochistan, to destroy evidence.
  • A ransom demand was made to Mustafa’s mother using an international number, though Shiraz was unsure whether Armaghan or someone else sent the messages.
  • Mustafa’s body was hidden in his own car’s trunk before being dumped and set ablaze.
  • He identified the location where the car was burned and the room in Armaghan’s bungalow where the victim was tortured.
  • According to Shiraz, Armaghan’s employees cleaned up Mustafa’s blood after the brutal assault.

High Court Overrules Previous Trial Decision

Earlier in the day, the Sindh High Court (SHC) dismissed a lower court’s ruling and ordered the production of Armaghan before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC-II). The SHC approved all four petitions seeking the accused’s remand under abduction, murder, and terrorism charges, overturning the ATC’s February 10 decision.
